Easter panic buying at Langport

Three arrested in One Stop 'frenzy'

The annual Easter Sunday panic buying kicked off at Langport's One Stop this morning, pictured above, as Tesco closed its doors for the religious holiday. With no supermarket for 24 hours, local residents have had to look elsewhere with the majority rushing to One Stop.
Three people were arrested when a fight broke out there over somebody's Milky Way and a worker from Chubby's was injured when at least four people lunged at his Turkish Delight.
Local One Stop customer, Scratchcard Lynne, described it as a "frenzy" and said she'd never seen anything like it.
Meanwhile, Tesco says despite its closure today the regular Sunday night 'staff training' (allegedly an orgy) will go ahead as usual in the workers' canteen. It also added that they'd taken precautions: this time all the cucumbers have been strapped down.
