Crimes that shocked Britain...
The Western Gazette, via website SomersetLive, gives a marvellous example this week of how the English court system is spending taxpayers' money on dealing with 'vital' crime cases across the country.
This time it's over at the magistrates court in Frome where court clerks, legal eagles, magistrates, junior clerks, solicitors etc all had to turn up and be paid (bar the magistrates) to hear this disgusting case of what a local woman did at Mole Valley Farmers.
It really is quite horrendous and Carry On Langport believes it's a prime example of why we should bring back hanging.
Nothing this bad has happened since a waitress put the tea in the cup before the milk at The Devonshire Arms in Long Sutton in 1993...she's still serving a life sentence.
