FOG WARNING

Explosion at Bridgwater vaping factory

An explosion at the vaping factory in Bridgwater late last night has wreaked havoc across Langport and Huish today as thick clouds of smog cover the area.

This (above) was the scene on Bow Street at midday today when the sun should have been at its highest but was nowhere to be seen.

The blast is believed to have been caused when a work experience girl accidentally mixed 30,000 litres of lavender with 15,000 litres of vanilla.

There was also chaos up at Langport Rec (above) where a football match being played in almost zero visibility took an unexpected turn.

"It's the first time a Somerton player's scored since that night at Ridgeway Hall Youth Club" said the coach.

- and this member of staff at Langport's branch of Natwest had to be given tranquilisers this morning when the fog cleared for a few moments and she realised she'd got into work before 10 o'clock.

Meteorologists say the blaze at the Taunton Road vape factory in Bridgwater is still raging and that Langporters should expect more thick fog and camomile over the next 48 hours.
