Langport named as 'runner up'
Langport is one of just two runners up in the Great British High Street awards competition.
The town, which was in the village category due to its small population, was beaten by Pateley Bridge in North Yorkshire...
...where these locals said they were "delighted"
But Langport shouldn't feel disappointed by the result...it should feel proud - after all it was in the final 3 of hundreds of entries from across the UK.
Good effort by all involved.
