The four animals had been left up on NatWest's roof for so long, they'd all applied to be the town's Easter Bunnies but failed to make the shortlist.
The jobs apparently went to a family at Curry Rivel's Chatham Place.
Exactly where the four wicker statues are being stored appears to be shrouded in mystery.
