If you're not invited to a wedding this weekend (and there aren't many of you) then you may be looking for an alternative. Well here it is, 18 kegs of real ale lined up just for you at the 2017 Halfway House Beef Festival.
Punters get a score card on which they give any beer they try a rating and a few comments...there's also live music from Twisted Vinyl at 7pm (Sat).
The Landlord says everything's ready for the big weekend...
"We've even switched on the Voyager II space probe which crash landed on the pub back in the 90s" he said.
A spokeswoman for the American Space Agency NASA said she was "delighted" the pub had agreed to activate Voyager for the duration of the beer festival.
"I've heard locals like a good probing" she said.
Whatever you do this weekend - the beer festival, wedding parties in Muchelney or on the cricket fields at Eli's and Pitney, raving at the Fanny's Meadow Festival near Martock, a 'bit of fun' at Cartgate Roundabout or a 'bit of rough' up Priest Lane - be good....and if you can't be good at least get some photographic evidence.
