Board game 'flying off shelves'
Waddingtons says it's "delighted" at the public response to the latest edition of its award-winning board game Monopoly.
Hundreds of the 'Langport version' games have been sold since they were made available online yesterday afternoon.
A few alterations have been made to the original format of the game to cater for the Somerset town.
"The bank's closed so we ask all players to give any money they've got to the Town Trust" said a spokesman...
" - and we've renamed 'Community Chest' after a popular local woman behind Kelways"
It's also believed you can only land on the town hall two days a week, to fit in with when the clerk's working.
