County Council turns down bollard idea
Proposals to put bollards up at the Hanging Chapel to make it a no through road have been dumped.
The county council says the pubic consultations have revealed there's no local appetite for sealing the route off.
But it's seriously looking at other traffic calming measures to alleviate the problems along the route.
Langport Freemasons say they're delighted by the decision.
"It means the Anne Summers van will still be able to deliver" said a spokesman.
