Not all of us are any good at playing Monopoly, but wouldn't a bakery open before 9am on a weekday be a goldmine? Selling to all the white van men and others who need to stock up for lunch break later in the day?

As reported previously on Carry On Langport, the town archives have revealed there used to be a black out curtain shop on the same premises.
It was also closed...between 1939 and 1945.
There are no further details.
