....and these are musical.
Unlike the appalling - but fun - yuletide shouting at the Halfway House last night, there's a more civilised but traditional affair taking place at St Mary's Church in Huish Episcopi this evening.
The carol service, open to everyone, starts at 6:30pm so forget the weather, go along and have a festive sing-song.
A spokeswoman at Langport Surgery says anybody who can get through the chorus of Ding Dong Merrily on High this evening without taking a breath during the word 'gloria' has "optimum" lung capacity and should give themselves a pat on the back.
But she said Langport and Huish residents who've had to breathe in deeply with Gloria up Priest Lane this year do not count.
