Downtown Langport this evening.
One of the results of a day of heavy rain across the shire!
The irony being that before 'The Island' was built [the raised tree area in the centre] the roadway along the front of Cyril Head's shops never flooded.
Something wrong down there folks. The flood is exactly in line with the big old Bow which stretched between Eustace & Arthur [the old Register Office] and along past Pendra's out to the river.
Still flows under there today, you can see it over the black railings in the town garden.
Good old Langport, always keeping us on our toes....has that pesky jet-skier been through yet?
