...as Halloween spider refuses to wear face covering...
For a second day running there've been angry crowds at Langport Tesco as the star of the new Halloween display, suspended over the store's entrance hall, refuses to wear a face mask.
"It's a disgrace" said one onlooker.
"But I'm exempt" said Sheila The Spider, "I downloaded one of those dodgy certificates on to my smartphone from Amazon last night...it was only £3.99...£1.50 with a Clubcard!"
Members of the public refused to back down though and police had to be called in this afternoon when an angry mob from Eastover turned up armed with cobweb brushes.
