Another great and increasingly popular local event for you this Easter weekend folks.
But where the heck is Union Drove?
Well for us old-timers it's down that track where Prideaux egg factory used to be, which for those in-the-know is also where the old Victorian workhouse used to be....until it was illegally demolished by the cowboys who built the housing estate up there.
If you're still non the wiser, try the map instead:
Lots of live music too this weekend folks including at Bere Cider Farm, Eli's and the Langport Arms.
If you're a fan of Langport band Twisted Vinyl, they're on at the Unicorn in Somerton.
And don't forget the fairground's down on Cocklemoor until Monday.
Oh....and the odd church service on Easter Sunday too. Come on! If you tick the Christian box on your census form every decade you have to at least go to church once a year surely.
Even if it's just to find out how to get the kids baptised.
So it's a Happy Easter to one and all and please be kind to Langport Tesco checkout staff when they can't scan the barcode on the foil wrapped around a Cadbury's Cream Egg and so have to type it in manually instead.
[We feel your pain]
Have a great weekend!
