We haven't done this for a while!
Carry On Langport presents a selection of recent e-mails and social media messages regarding a variety of topics.
The writers have all agreed to have their names and addresses published.
Let's take a look:

Dear Editor,
We were delighted to hear this week of rumours that the company behind the application to convert the United Reform Church on Bow Street in to accommodation also allegedly runs the website Stag Nights R Us, a string of 'party' Air B&Bs in London and the A303 overnight entertainment area at Cartgate Roundabout.
How wonderful!
Any news on whether they'll be carrying on the good work here right in the middle of this boring quiet residential area in Langport?
Many thanks.
Gail Tilsley and Suzie Birchall, Bow Street.

To Carry On Langport,
I keep hearing rumours the town council's been discussing selling off some or all of Langport town centre car park in and around the main precinct. Or do they mean install pay and display machines?
Either way, could you tell me when the public consultations will begin?
Many thanks.
Sid James, Cheapside,

Dear Sir or Madam,
My husband and I are not sure which branch or 'lodge' of the Freemasons is responsible, but could we just thank them for the absolute delight we get in seeing them pull up in their Range Rovers and other large vehicles trying to navigate and park around the Hanging Chapel when they meet there every month.
Wing mirrors smashed off, the bollards going over and confrontations with locals - it really is highly entertaining and we have taken to sitting in deckchairs at the top of our road with a bottle of Merlot to watch the monthly spectacle. Cheers!
We've even invited friends round for the next one!
Yours,
Terry and June Scott, Bonds Pool.

Dear Editor,
I was wondering if you knew any more about the United Reform Church conversion on Bow Street? It's just that we're still looking for a venue for my hen night in August.
There will only be 28 of us so locals living nearby needn't worry about any noise.
Thank you.
Sarah Platt, Eastover.

To Whom It May Concern,
Could you please inform your readers that in September my company is planning to install a tiny temporary outdoor bowling alley on the river bank near Black Bridge. Then, a year later, we will be applying to build a full permanent bowling alley there saying that the temporary one is an eyesore and needs to be covered up.
We are not really bothered about public opinion but are confident we'll get the full support of the local town and parish councils.
Yours faithfully,
Mike Baldwin, Portland Road.

To the Langport Blogger,
My wife and I have just had a marvellous 2 weeks in the westcountry including a day or two in Langport. What a lovely town, however we were rather surprised to find that Communist Party Headquarters wouldn't take cash. It was card only.
Any thoughts?
With many thanks,
Chow Ming Pow, North Korean Ambassador, London.

Dear Editor,
Any idea when the public consultations will begin about the future of Langport's free car parks?
They are actually going to consult townsfolk right?
Many thanks.
Victor Meldrew, Whatley.

To the Carry On Blog,
Is there a date yet for when building will begin on the new ice rink at Black Bridge?
Many thanks.
Jane Torville, Garden City.

Dear Editor,
Just to let everybody know, we have applied to annex the empty red telephone box in the centre of Langport. I mean it's not like it's being used for anything important or life saving or anything is it?
Unless there are public objections, from October this year it will be known as Room 999.
Many thanks.
Sybil Fawlty, the Langport Arms.
