CARVERY DRIVE-THROUGH COMPLETED
Back after a car crash partially demolished it 2 years ago, work on the Langport Arms 'portico' is finally over and it's looking grander than ever.
The two gents in the picture are stonemason Luke Grafton, whose team did the work, and quarryman Zac England whose quarry supplied the new ham stone.

Great work, pats on the back all round to those involved.
And for those of you relieved at the removal of the traffic lights - don't hold your breath - any week now work on the transport hub in the precinct will get underway so they could be back again before you can say
"town clock's still buggered"
That's it for today folks, thanks for the contributions and carry on reading!
