But where are the sandwiches?!

New charity shop refuses to sell second-hand baguettes

Langport's latest charity shop is refusing to sell hand-me-down sandwiches. The animal charity is reportedly doing a booming trade but customers harking back to the golden era of Lucinda (previously at the premises on North Street) and her tasty sandwiches have been left disappointed by the owner's refusal to sell leftovers from wakes at The Langport Arms.

Despite the baguette row, Carry On Langport wishes the new charity all the best. While we welcome the new venture - one hopes that the charity shop count at Langport will stay as it is, and not become like Shepton Mallet's.
