Arsonist mystery
Langport's public toilets have been partially closed again for some time now after what is at least the second arson attack there in recent months. The last deliberate fire was caught on camera - above - by the CCTV at the One Stop. Fire repairs cost you, the Langport taxpayer, money. So who are these people? Any ideas? If so, contact us and - if it's legal - we'll name and shame them. These brainless individuals should go and blow up their own bathrooms.
In a seperate development, the Huish Episcopi Ornithological Society has denied it's been using the back of the men's toilet doors, on the inside, to advertise its events. It comes after something about a swallow was written up there recently.
The Town Council's told the Huish bird watchers to "put their notices elsewhere."
Langport's Town Clerk, above, is said to be 'disgusted' by the bird watching notice.
But Huish Episcopi Parish Council's Vice Chairman reacted rather differently.
