Change is afoot
It's Easter weekend and just like our friends at Network Rail, Carry On Langport is carrying out engineering works. From today, there'll be some colour changes on some of the headlines and sub-headers. Simply because Apple i-phone users have been complaining that their phones change the default background colour of Carry on Langport - which is supposed to be a darkish red - to white.
This means some pieces of text are invisible and there've been complaints from Huish Episcopi Parish Councillors, just about every member of staff at Langport Tesco, the vicar and local rugby player Johnny Bravo. There's a long backlog of articles to change but work's underway as we speak and the Commodore 64 here at head office is already overheating. We've had to plug in the Sinclair ZX Spectrum as a back-up.
(We also once had a Sinclair ZX 81 but sold it to Langport Town Council which now uses it to do the accounts.)

These Apple i-phone users, on Bow Street last night, said they often struggled to read the wording on Carry On Langport (Although it's now emerged this photograph is in fact 3 people looking at a picture of Somerton football team in the clubhouse showers last Saturday)
