Record turnout at Tesco

 Easter Sunday session 'best yet'

Last night's 'staff training' at the Langport Tesco workers' canteen was the best yet according to several people who got in. Queues at the side door stretched out on to Langport Moor and local builders Sharp and Gamble were called in to strengthen the footbridge, they ended up being invited in and didn't turn up for work today. Several Freemasons and most of Huish Episcopi Parish Council were seen chasing each other around the carpark with cucumbers at around 4 o'clock this morning. It appears Langport Town Councillors went to the wrong venue though and were seen trying to break in to the Ridgeway Hall on Bow Street where they were met with fierce local opposition.
Local boy band Fast Decline provided the live music last night and on the bill next week - it's The Painkillers.
Despite repeated allegations that the Sunday events are clearly orgies, the Langport supermarket's manager -  pictured above with two of his sausage sorters last night - is still insisting they are staff training evenings. He's also asked that Carry On Langport stops promoting the event which we have agreed to.
