Gurgling heard near Hanging Chapel
Police say they're taking seriously allegations that somebody in the Hanging Chapel area is operating an unlicensed garden hot tub. It comes after at least 5 homeowners in the area dialled 999 last night after 'laughter and gurgling' were heard coming over roof tops near Bond's Pool.
Only the Freemasons hold a licence for a hot tub in the area, which wasn't being used last night. A spokesman said "It wasn't us. We were all at Minehead Butlins for the Knobbly Knees quarter-finals."
Last year several people were injured when a Langport footballer who'd just been to Cardomom got in to a hot tub at an address in Eastover and broke wind violently, catapulting 4 school dinner-ladies into the stinging nettle patch behind the scout hut.
and in 2010 these Huish Academy teachers were arrested after being caught operating an unlicensed hot tub behind the Science Block.
