Somerton Airport

Town Council agrees solar plan.

A plan has been agreed to install solar panels on the roof of Somerton Airport. The building, previously known as Edgar Hall, will provide enough electricity to power the hand drier in the toilets at The Unicorn - but only on Thursdays.
According to the Western Gazette, a local business woman said the panels would have no real visual impact on Somerton because the building is "way out of the centre".
(No shit, Sherlock - it's easier to get to Compton Dundon)
But we agree and that's just how it should be - as Stanstead Airport is well outside of London and Bristol Airport is well outside of Bristol.
Town Councils on the other hand should naturally be on the inside of local communities, easily accessible and centrally located. Oh no hang on....this is Somerton we're talking about. Let me rewrite this and come back to you....
