Where's that to then?

Address 'doesn't exist'

Ordnance Survey, the government agency which draws up maps of the UK, has stepped into the row over a 'non-existent' address in Langport. It comes as a handful of homeowners in the town continue to use the words 'Upper Bow Street' as part of their address. It involves the houses opposite Langport surgery, All Saints Hall and Lou Lou's.
But Royal Ordnance has refused to recognise the address describing the attempt to increase house prices and sound more upper-class as "just daft". Royal Mail isn't impressed either and is warning that anyone using 'Upper Bow Street' in their address will have to pick up their post from the fish and chip shop in the car park.
Several Langport residents agreed. A woman at Middle Whatley said she couldn't understand it at all while a man living at Royal Moor Park Road said he thought it was baffling. There are no further details.

This 'Upper Bow Street' woman said she wasn't happy with the Royal Mail's decision.
