'Love in the aisles' this Friday
As part of its Valentine weekend celebrations, Langport Tesco is running a a 'love in the aisles' dating night at the end of this week. Any customers 'looking for love' (or a bit of how's your father up Priest Lane) can take part for free. All they have to do - to show they are 'on the market' - is to have certain items of shopping in their trolleys.
"It's simple" said the manager, as he stitched another bath plug into the bottom of the handheld baskets, "all men need to do is to have a Spanish Chorizo in their trolleys....and the ladies need to make sure they are displaying a jar of cheap mayonnaise or a packet of bacon."
'Love in the aisles' is at Langport Tesco on Friday evening between 7 and 9 o'clock, anyone who misses it is advised to try Station Path...any Saturday night in August.
