Looking for love?

Care in the Community at Tesco.

Valentine's weekend kicks off at Tesco later with its 'Love in the Aisles' promotion. ( see Carry On Langport's last story: http://carryonlangport.blogspot.co.uk/2016/02/singles-night-at-tesco.htm

Anybody looking for love is encouraged to visit the supermarket this evening. The 'secret code' to show you are taking part is to have certain items of shopping in your trolley or handheld basket. (Again - for precise details...see our last story using the link above)

It's believed the store will switch off its CCTV system for the duration of the event to ensure privacy between courting couples. A selection of 'mood music' will also be played out over the tannoy.

A spokesman for Tesco denied rumours that cucumbers would be involved in tonight's event. "Don't be ridiculous" he said, "not after what happened last year...the manager of Guys and Dolls has only just got out of hospital"

Last year the supermarket's 'Love in the Aisles' promotion spilled out into the carpark (above)  and 3 people were arrested.

This year's event begins at 7pm.
