Langport welcomes back The Black Swan.
After a period of closure and a longer period with a brothel's name...Langport's North Street sees the re-opening of the 'old' Black Swan this coming weekend.
Road markings and 'Give Way' signs have been put up and down Priest Lane to cope with the expected rise in pedestrian traffic and hand rails are to be placed around Post Office Corner to help drunks get back down to Moor Park Road.
(those trying to get up Langport Hill are advised to cross over and use the Post Office railings)
Great to have the old place open again and back under its proper name. We wish the new venue and its owners and staff well.
