Stick your poppy on and get down to the war memorial on Sunday morning
You may not be a religious person, you may not have time for church services...but how about a quick trip down to the war memorial opposite St Mary's in Huish on Sunday.
There's a brief act of Remembrance there at 11 o'clock. They stop the traffic, sound the last post, the vicar says a few prayers and that's your lot. Quite a crowd turns out. No pressure to go into the church for the main service.
A joke flag? No, it nearly happened.
