It's that time of the year when nobody really knows what day it is. We're in limbo and we're having to check our mobile phones to see where we are in the week.
So we are happy to reveal that across most parts of Langport today it's Thursday.
However, large areas of Huish Episcopi are thought to be stuck in Wednesday evening while the village's Courtfield and Portland Road addresses are still reportedly celebrating Boxing Day...1978.
"What time does VG close?" said a local dog walker "and you haven't got a 2p have you?" she asked, strolling off to use the phone box just before the Wagg Drove turning.
"Happy 1979" our reporter shouted.
Tomorrow in Langport it's Friday.
