"Well worth a quid"
An award-winning local paper has done it again this week hitting another journalistic peak, as its front page reports...well...see for yourself.
In the week that Langport's oldest bank, NatWest, announces it's closing in October - and with just days to go until The Post Office closes and is replaced by 'a counter' at a newsagent's in Bow Street...the Gazette has gone 'All Creatures Great and Small' on us.
To be fair, the paper has covered the bank closure - but it's on page 2 - and there appears to be no mention at all of the final days of the Post Office at the bottom of Langport Hill.
Marvellous stuff.
