"Is that what I think it is???!"

Yep...a baby on a car windscreen.

The Spring 2017 'Not Sure If That Works' advertising award has gone to a commercial in this week's Western Gazette.

This advert has made several readers do a double take today...residents at Portcullis House old people's home at Eastover were so shocked they were forced to cancel afternoon Leap Frog.

Make up your own mind.

Here at the Carry On Langport newsroom, we're really not sure if that works.

In other news...

Building work's well underway at the former St Gilda's Convent where singer Peter Andre's having his new recording studio put in.

Mr Andre, who bought the listed building some months ago and whose father-in-law lives in Taunton, is expected to move in before the summer.

His latest hit single 'Mysterious Nun' has now been in the charts for over fourteen weeks.

Finally...

Despite the 'novelty' curry...everyone involved with and who attended Strictly Dance Coming in Somerton last weekend with the town's Rugby Club says they're delighted with the way the evening went.

A brilliant night out was had by all...including at the several 'after parties' in the Bancombe Road area.

That's your Thursday evening bulletin - log in again soon.
