Didn't they do well?!
Langport was full of colour yesterday for the judges' visit in the South West In Bloom competition.
Flower and shrub displays of all shapes and sizes have appeared everywhere in recent weeks - congratulations to all involved - good effort!

We're not so sure about getting the judges to come on bin day - but apart from that the place looked great.
55 towns and cities across the region took part in the contest and the winners won't be announced until October 5th.
Please do send in your photographs so we can post them sometime soon.
Our news team was 'out of town' for much of yesterday so couldn't get as many pictures as we would have liked - however we did manage to grab a few interesting snaps.
Town Councillor Ian MacNab - who seems to get his name on Carry On Langport every week this summer - is seen here admiring a giant hybrid of red hot poker, which was seen growing up a Priest's Lane yesterday lunchtime.
Meanwhile, this lilac had to be removed from a hanging basket outside One Stop after complaints from shoppers, one on-looker said she came over all peculiar.
"Where can I get one?" she asked passers-by.
- and this window box was briefly on display on the Hanging Chapel balcony before a gagging order meant it had to be covered up.
"Oh well the Town Trust like a good cover-up" said a Bond's Pool resident, "pity though - at least it would've made'm some money"
We asked Town Council Leader Janet Seaton about the chapel's alleged display...
"Sorry - confidential" she snapped, as she put a line through 'accountability' and 'public interest' on the minutes of last night's Langport Town Trust meeting.
We've also been sent this picture, which could swing it for Langport...an award-winning selection of moss and lichen spotted growing out the side of the town hall.
Marvellous.
