Trump phones Gazette...

Fake News? Or just piss poor?

Donald Trump, known for being an international banker, has reportedly congratulated the Western Gazette for its coverage of the closure of the Langport branch of NatWest last week.

"A marvellous example of how to completely miss the point" said the President on the phone to Carry On Langport last night.

This week's Somerton & Langport edition (page 3) mentions the handing over of some old Stuckey's bank artifacts to the town council on the day Langport's last and oldest bank shut its doors for good.

Mr Trump - pictured above giving someone the clap in Priest Lane last summer - says he's delighted the Gazette completely failed to report that town councillor Ian Macnab told the regional manager of the bank at that photoshoot that it was "a black day" for Langport.

Mr Macnab also told him the new weekly 'bank on wheels' which will be visiting the town wasn't something he could support.

Was it in the Gazette report this week? Was it hell.

But if they discover a rare apple in an orchard in Compton Dundon next week - you can bet that'll be on the front page.

Moan moan moan - more moaning over the weekend.

Stay tuned.
