Here's looking at you...

Views of Huish Episcopi from St Mary's church tower

For your pleasure...a collection of photographs of Huish taken from up on the roof of the church tower this week.

Can you see your house?

You may have to click on the image and enlarge for a better view.

Looking west along the land that leads up to the Hanging Chapel and All Saints Church at Langport.

Looking north through the leafless treetops to St Mary's Park.

Looking east at Courtfield and the road down to Eli's.

Looking at Huish Academy, beyond the railway line lies the Brookland Road estate and the tiny white dots on the horizon on the ridge are the homes at High Ham which look out on the playing field.

- and finally, here we see some typical Wagg Drove residents going about their daily lives.

Hope you spotted someone you recognised!

News just in...

Somerton was mentioned on Simon Mayo's Radio Two show this evening. A listener messaged in to say the Somerset town already has daffodils in bloom. Good stuff.

You know what's coming next...get your Langport daffodils-in-bloom pics in to Carry On Langport ASAP so as not to be outdone by those buggers up the road.

- and if you can't find any.....FAKE IT.

Thanks for reading - send me your dodgy Christmas works do pictures via the blog's Facebook page if you get any this week.

All towns & villages welcome.

Back soon.
