Cow breaks on to rides at Langport Fun Fair
This was the scene on Cocklemoor last night after a cow got on to the dodgems at Langport Fair.
The animal, which it's believed may have strolled up from Black Bridge, strayed on to the ride's platform at around half past seven - causing chaos.
Eyewitnesses say the cow "opened its bowels" after being hit by a couple from Moor Park Road, causing onlookers to flee in all directions.
But not everyone was upset by the incident.
"We also thought we were going to hit it but managed to dodge right underneath" said a North Street man, "when we came out the other side, the wife was carrying a litre of semi-skimmed, marvellous"
The animal then got on to a ride known as The Cage and was later seen being sick with several other passengers in the River Parrett.
