Russians 'leak' pictures to national media
Less than 48 hours before he's due to lead the historic Langport Friendly Society march around the town and nearby Huish Episcopi, pictures allegedly showing Society President Mr William Langford 'on parade' in his army days have surfaced on the world wide web.
"Oh yes that's definitely my Billy" said his wife Annie Shillabeer, "he always does that with his feet when he's had enough...it's like a sign of surrender"
But Mr Langford told Carry On Langport he wasn't worried by the publication of the pictures.
"I've seen a member of your newsroom in a similar state" he told us.
Yep...fair enough.
The walk on Saturday, lead by Kingsbury Town Band, raises money for local good causes and begins with a church service at St Mary's.
Be good lads...and if you can't be good....get it all on film.
