Many thanks to Carry On Langport reader Leonard Edwards for forwarding us this great picture of what looks like a busy day on Cheapside.
Not sure what decade that is...mid-fifties?
More intriguing though is who the woman dashing out of the Langport Arms is and what she's up to.
It's believed it could be a cleaner hoping the store opposite has some Jeyes Fluid after the cook got Black Forest Gateau up the curtains.
Any thoughts?
- and if you look closely, you can just see a dodgy semi-naked shop window dummy in one of the store windows opposite the hotel.
No change there then.
