Bus passenger arrested.
A bus passenger was arrested yesterday after pulling the emergency stop cord on the number 54 bus to Yeovil.
The vehicle ended up skidding into the bus shelter on North Street, causing major damage (pictured).
"I'm so embarrassed" said the 53 year-old culprit, "I had just taken my seat when I realised Travis Perkins hadn't over charged me for a bag of sand....I'm sure they're 45 quid each"
The bus stop shelter was only installed last year.
These 'new ideas' in Langport do seem to suffer a bit of bad luck don't they eh...
