So not only have we not seen a bobby on the beat in Langport since about 1978, despite the boy-racers speeding through at night and the frequent break-ins from our barns, sheds and pubs...
...but when they do turn up , nothing's happening and they're not even standing 2 metres apart.

Langport Town Council has announced that the 'doorstep applause' on Thursday night next week will be in memory of people stuck in the one-way system at Tesco.
