...make sure you don't hit 'the market'
The health and safety brigade were out in force in downtown Langport yesterday...getting it absurdly wrong as usual.
This sign appeared urging motorists to slow down as the town's market got in to full swing...all one stall of it.
Yet just feet away and around the corner, drivers were faced with this....
...almost a foot deep in the middle and stinking of sewers, the Langport Lido, which now regularly appears after any heavy rainfall.
The water also came up the drains on Cheapside and flooded the hair salon opposite the old bank.
But as long as you didn't speed past that busy market folks, no one's complaining.
