News just in and it's emerged the Anti-Euthanasia Society is to sue the Langport Arms amid allegations the hotel is bringing Black Forest Gateaux back to the menu for Mother's Day Weekend.
"Death by Chocolate hasn't happened in Somerset since the reign of King Malcolm and Prince Richard" said a spokeswoman for the society, "it's a disgrace!".
But the Langport Hotel said it was "baffled" by the campaign group's actions.
Manageress Deborah Hermer, who asked not to be named, told Carry On Langport that Black Forest Gateaux had never been taken off the menu in the first place.
"It just that nobody ever orders it!" she added.
The Anti-Euthanasia Society is digging it's heels in though saying it's already passed the alleged 1980s recipe on to the CPS [Cake Prosecution Service]
