There are lots of stories on Carry On Langport's 'to do' list at the moment and just not enough time to get through them all.
Quite a few of our staff are on holiday in far-flung places. Like Barcelona, Bali and Bowdens to name but a few.
Our deputy news editor's also away galavanting. Here she is trying to teach a member of staff at Thorney Lakes how to count tents this week:
So we've got a backlog of stories unfortunately.
What we can do though is show you the fridge door in the Carry On Langport canteen at the moment.
Covered in reminders of what stories need to be done...
See any stories you recognise? and they're only the tip of the iceberg. It's all been happening!
Just before we sign off...
DATE FOR YOUR DIARY:
There are a handful of live music acts over the bank holiday weekend at the Halfway House beer festival at the end of the month including Nevertheless & Bad Edukation.
Then before we know it it'll be September and summer 2022 will be behind us. Then the drought will break, the rain will come, hit the baked-hard ground and flood the moors.
[Calm down if you've recently moved in to the area. Calm down. The floods often come in early autumn as well as winter and spring. They like to catch us out. Nothing to panic about. That's what the levels are for 👍]
Anyhow, that's your Thursday bulletin done folks.
