This 'top-up' shop at Langport Tesco now costs the grand total of £8 [£7.50 with a Clubcard]
Look at it. Six grocery items. Plain brown bread, six hot cross buns, a bag of hard small barely edible pears, a bag of gnocchi, a packet of five peperami snacks and a tiny can of energy/vitamin drink.
EIGHT BLEEDIN' QUID???
Surely that's quite a bagful of food/groceries from another chain? Whatever the reasons or justifications, feels like our store has had a monopoly on the Langport area for far too long.
Anyone know if Aldi or Lidl are building anything up at Somerton? Anyone got any land they want to sell?
