Congratulations to Lucie and Mark David who now not only run the Halfway House at Pitney but also own it.
Mrs David told reporters she was delighted with their purchase but when pressed refused to comment on local media speculation she and her husband have also sold part of Pibsbury Corner to Aldi.
Meanwhile their son George David, who can't be named for legal reasons, said while he wished the family well he wouldn't be abandoning his main career as a stripogram plumber for Wessex Water.
"I'd miss the stirrup pump too much" he told the Western Gazette.
To mark the family's purchase of the Halfway, they're bringing in local band The Nurofens tonight to celebrate.
Music starts at around 8pm.
