New coffee shop at Huish?
As Huish Episcopi villagers continue to 'rage' at the number of cafes open and opening in downtown Langport in recent weeks, corporate planners from coffee chain Starbucks were spotted absailing up St Mary's Church tower today [pictured]
It's believed they were scouting around for new premises.
The new parish council chairwoman at Huish, fighting off current and former Langport town councillors as she tried to remain independent, told us she was behind the idea and hoped she could get a Latte up her vestry in time for Christmas.
Disgusting, Dame Shirley would never have allowed that.
