Apart from the obvious at our local supermarket, there's not much else for you in your end-of-week read folks, this is all we've got:

Just days to go and still no clear winner.

Two finalists have emerged in the contest to warn locals that Priest Lane has collapsed again.

They are The Highways Agency with its traditional red and white display and local building firm 'The Gentle Touch' with its 'Walking Dead' style keep out this place is buggered warning.

Donna Vale at For Every Cloud, Langport's award-winning sign-writing company on Bow Street, has been brought in to judge the final which takes place next week.

Meanwhile, the next installment of the BBC's new Sunday night drama based on the notorious little footpath airs this weekend.

Sunday night's episode entitled, 'I'll Show You My Spirit Level If You Show Me Yours' goes out at 9pm.

Finally

Look what someone spotted in a local churchyard this week:

Having a sit-down and a rest until it goes to work maybe? We're still trying to get to the bottom of it while we believe it's trying to get to the top of something. All very confusing.

That's it for today folks, just a reminder there's live music at Bere Cider Farm tomorrow [Sat] night from 8pm with Snakes Alive and up at the Halfway on Sunday afternoon they've got singer Dizz Watson coming in 👍
