Passers-by had to intervene to explain to the runner that he'd got the 'wrong box' and that the one he needed was just metres away...but still empty since its installation in spring last year.
The elderly traveller involved in the fracas said he wouldn't be pressing charges and told Carry On Langport he was just "passing through" and in future would park his vehicle somewhere and sometime else.
We agreed and suggested 1959 on the roof of the old public toilets...
...quite a popular spot back then!
In the meantime, if anyone needs a defib machine, there are some in the area including at the sports club up the rec', at Huish Leisure at the academy and at the bicycle rental business on the river at Bow Bridge.
