Hundreds of sheep go into Labour

Massive swing to the left on Somerset Levels

The latest Mori poll suggests over 300 sheep have gone into Labour on fields near Muchelney this week, just 6 weeks before the general election.
Eye-witnesses say dozens of newborn lambs have been seen doing impressions of Harold Wilson and there are now concerns the politicisation of the countryside is spreading: last night at least 8 dirty stinking weasels were spotted impersonating Tony Blair.

Local shepherd Zach Holdsworth - pictured above on his first job in 1995 - says his flock has even formed a trade union with 40 of them refusing to graze the new Thorney flood defences today.
