Holidaymaker takes day trip to Langport
A Birmingham woman, on holiday at Burnham on Sea, has reportedly woken up on a lie low on the River Parrett. The 47 year-old was helped out of the water by shocked customers at The Wharf on Sunday. Wearing only a bikini and listening to her i-pod, the mother of 3 later said she thought she was still on the beach at Burnham and only realised something was wrong when she opened her eyes as a swan pecked at her nipples as she floated by its nest at Stuckey's Island. Unharmed, Nellie Swinterton walked into Langport for a lottery ticket and bought a bag of doughnuts before boarding the number 38 bus to Street where she caught another lie low up the Sedgemoor Drain back to Burnham.
