We're on! Langport Town Council election - May 7th.
A record 24 nominees have successfully submitted applications to stand for election to Langport Town Council. The target figure to trigger the vote was only 12 but double that have entered the ballot. It means the town goes to the polls on May 7th - general election day.
Although not yet confirmed, we understand not enough nominations were submitted to trigger a similar election for Huish Episcopi Parish Council.
