Most episodes of the long-running TV series Tales of the Unexpected were just daft. But every now and then there was a real gem and the director was evidently setting out to give 1970s children nightmares. Watch this old one and you'll never let your daughter travel by bus again.
In the late 70s there was a period when, on Saturday nights after Match of The Day, Hammer House of Horror would also scare the living daylights out of us with a short season of hour-long stories. Take a look at this one, even the music had bladders straining.
