ON THE BIG SCREENS...

Langport Odeon has announced this weekend's film will be the 1967 hit 'Carry On Up The Chapel'.
Tickets are available from the usual places and anyone with one trouser leg rolled up gets in half price.

The Odeon, above, says it's hoping for a good turnout for the classic movie and that anyone wanting to see Doctor Balai should slip a note to the box office just before the ads finish (or phone reception between 8am and 9am any time next summer)

There's also a warning that 'Horace Stuckey - Piles - Doctor Speke - Room 8' may appear on the screens just before the end of the first showing on Saturday and 'Several women at Eastover - Pregnant Again - Nurse Botting - Room 7' could also be flashed up during the late film on the same day.

Meanwhile, the dispensary says it'll be supplying a selection of hot and cold drugs as usual - but won't be selling anymore Cadbury's Finger of Fudge after an incident during last Sunday afternoon's film when a check-out boy from Langport Tesco sat down on his chair funny and needed an emergency enema.
